NEURO AI IN MONTREAL

October 10 - 13, 2023: Main Workshop, Mila

Registration is now closed.

This workshop aims to showcase and delve into the cutting-edge frontiers of Neuro-AI by bringing together experts from the fields of neuroscience and AI research. With remarkable advancements in AI, the impact of biologically-inspired computation on shaping artificial systems is undergoing a transformative shift. While deep learning and other optimization schemes have facilitated remarkable and efficient machine learning, notable gaps between AI and biological intelligence still persist. Conversely, the emergent properties of new AI systems present opportunities to explore the interconnections between computational systems and higher-order cognitive abilities. This opens doors for investigating novel links in neuroscience by bridging the understanding of system-level processes with cognitive mechanisms and beyond. We invite you to join us and explore the latest research in Neuro-AI, uncovering the potential to address these exciting new questions.
